About
Archivio
Our Story
“Architecture needs its archive. Domus is that archive.”
Archivio was founded by two architecture graduates who shared a singular obsession: that the physical magazine remains the truest record of architectural thought.
Based in Porto — a city that has always understood the relationship between old things and new ideas — we search for, grade, and sell rare issues of Domus, the Italian architecture and design magazine founded in 1928.
We are not a shop. We are an archive that occasionally sells. Every issue we carry is one we would keep. When we let one go, it is because we believe it will be better loved somewhere else.
